Tabor Redefines Anti-Drone Testing with Software-Defined SDR Platform

NESHER, ISRAEL, May 16, 2026 - (ACN Newswire via SeaPRwire.com) - Tabor Electronics today announced the commercial release of its Anti-Drone Test and Evaluation (T&E) solution, introducing a software-defined approach to validating counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS). Built on the company's Proteus™ Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform, the solution enables defense and security organizations to test and deploy counter-drone technologies in rapidly changing threat environments. As low-cost drones proliferate and communication protocols evolve, traditional hardware-bound test environments are struggling to keep pace. Tabor's platform replaces these constraints with a programmable framework that allows engineering teams to emulate and validate real-world RF scenarios in controlled lab environments-reducing reliance on extended field testing while accelerating development timelines.Originally developed in collaboration with leading anti-drone technology companies, the solution has already been proven in active development and integration workflows. Its commercial release brings a field-tested approach to organizations across defense, homeland security, public safety, and critical infrastructure. At the core of the platform is Tabor's Proteus SDR architecture, combining wideband RF signal generation and acquisition with real-time FPGA processing, deep memory, and high-throughput data movement in a compact COTS system. This integration enables closed-loop testing, where detection and mitigation techniques can be continuously validated and refined under realistic RF conditions.A Shift to Software-Defined ValidationTabor's solution changes how C-UAS systems are tested by moving validation into the lab and enabling rapid iteration through software. New threat scenarios can be introduced without hardware changes, allowing teams to adapt quickly while maintaining consistency between lab validation and real-world performance. This approach delivers clear operational benefits:Faster development and integration cyclesReduced dependence on field testingEnable predictable system performance before deploymentExtended lifespan of test infrastructureBy consolidating multiple RF test functions into a single scalable SDR platform, organizations can also reduce tool fragmentation and improve asset utilization across programs.Proteus SDR Platform OverviewThe Proteus platform is based on a direct digital RF architecture, supporting wide-frequency signal generation and acquisition with high instantaneous bandwidth for accurate threat emulation. Programmable FPGA resources enable real-time adaptability, while flexible form factors-including benchtop, desktop, and PXI-support both component-level development and full system evaluation. Multi-channel phase-coherent operation enables complex, synchronized test scenarios.Mark Elo, Chief Product Officer at Tabor Electronics, commented:"Counter-drone systems are being deployed into environments where threats evolve faster than traditional validation methods can keep up. We built this platform to close that gap-giving teams the ability to test against what's next, not what's already known."About Tabor ElectronicsFounded in 1971, Tabor Electronics is a global provider of signal generation and acquisition solutions serving defense, aerospace, communications, and advanced research markets.

pic.twitter.com/PhgnOjIor5 — CoinMarketCap (@CoinMarketCap) May 14,

這些城市在同一週內, infrastructure(基礎設施)會同時出現過載與閒置的狀態。 在紐約市, rideshare(共乘服務) pickup(接載點)與 last-mile delivery(最後一哩配送)的爆炸性增長,壓垮了為不同時代設計 curb-side infrastructure(路邊停車空間)。市長 Mamdani 於2026年4月 launching a new Office of Curb Management( launching a new Office of Curb Management )以 overseeing( overseeing )6,300英里的 street-side lanes( street-side lanes ),這是一項 bureaucratic response( bureaucratic response )到一個問題存在多年後才跟上治理架構的問題。這種 lag( lag ) captures the pattern( captures the pattern )。 governance built for stability in an era of constant change( governance built for stability in an era of constant change municipal systems(市政系統)是在條件變化緩慢的時代圍繞 deliberation( deliberation )、 accountability( accountability )與 risk mitigation( risk mitigation )而演進。如今,這些系統面臨的是 condition shift constantly( condition shift constantly )的環境,但 governance structures( governance structures )卻 fragmentation authority( fragmentation authority )並 delay coordination( delay coordination )。 DATA.BET reports esports betting GGR nearly doubles in Q1 2026

(AsiaGameHub) -   DATA.BET reported stronger esports betting performance in Q1 2026 across its partner sportsbook network, with year-on-year gains in gross gaming revenue (GGR), turnover and player activity compared to Q1 2025. The supplier said esports GGR nearly doubled on a year-on-year basis, while turnover rose by 70.6%. It also reported higher activity levels, with placed bets up 33.2% and combo bets increasing 72.1%. DATA.BET attributed the rise in combo bets in part to recent UX changes to its Single Page Application (iFrame) and said higher-value wagering from “premium-segment partner platforms” supported a rise in average single bet size. By title, DATA.BET said CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant all delivered “strong double-digit growth” across profit, turnover, bet counts and active users. It also highlighted “niche disciplines” as a profit driver, reporting a 245% year-on-year increase in profit for that segment. Rainbow Six was singled out for growth following the addition of new markets, including combined Total Over + Win and Win First Half + Win Map, and expanded match coverage, with the company pointing to Latin America as a key audience. Rocket League posted quarter-on-quarter growth, according to DATA.BET, with turnover up 85.3%, bet counts up 18.7% and active players up 50.1%, alongside a stated 94% live coverage conversion rate. The company also pointed to Valorant EMEA Clash 2026 as a contributor to acquisition, saying newcomers made up 68.6% of all new players and 55.4% of total bets placed. According to Bohdan Holovnov, Head of Esports at DATA.BET, partners increased activity as returns improved: “High margin efficiency has been a real catalyst this quarter. Partners have increasingly recognized that esports can deliver meaningful commercial returns, encouraging them to scale up promotional campaigns and drive more traffic into the vertical. That feeds directly into more new users, higher turnover, and stronger margins. At the same time, we continue to offer the broadest match and discipline coverage on the market, and the impact is also reflected in the rapid growth of combo bets across our partner platforms.” DATA.BET said official data events were up 5.2% year-on-year and the overall event calendar increased 10.8%. It added that top-tier events outperformed low-tier events on turnover, profit and bet count, while low-tier volume grew—particularly in CS2—following Valve’s restructured Major qualification system. Holovnov added: “Q1 of 2026 set a new benchmark for what esports betting can deliver. GGR nearly doubling year over year, combined with a player base growing by more than 56% and increasingly sophisticated betting patterns, suggests the vertical is maturing in exactly the right direction. We’re entering the rest of 2026 with strong momentum, an expanding market portfolio, and partners who are seeing tangible commercial impact quarter after quarter.” This article is provided by a third-party. Okada Manila Q1 GGR Down 17% as Market Pressure Persists

(AsiaGameHub) -   Okada Manila reported a 17% decline in first-quarter gaming revenue compared to the same period last year, as parent company Universal Entertainment Corp highlighted ongoing challenges in the Philippine casino market. Key Facts Okada Manila’s Q1 casino GGR fell 17.2% year-on-year to approximately PHP6.47 billion. VIP revenue dropped by 19% due to a lower win rate. Tiger Resort and PhilWeb have introduced the Okada Play online gaming platform. Okada Manila is now prioritizing its online gaming strategy. Universal Entertainment noted that rising travel costs—partly linked to the Middle East situation—have made it more difficult for certain guests to visit the resort in person, prompting a greater focus on expanding Philippine online gaming services. This announcement followed PhilWeb Corp’s confirmation of the launch of Okada Play in collaboration with Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc., a subsidiary of Universal Entertainment that operates Okada Manila. First Quarter Hit by VIP Weakness and Rising Costs In the first three months of 2026, Okada Manila generated casino GGR of nearly PHP6.47 billion (about $108.1 million), marking a 17.2% decrease from the previous year, although it increased by 9.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2025.Universal Entertainment stated: “We recognise that the gaming market in Entertainment City, Manila, Philippines, remains in a period of adjustment,” “Partly due to the situation in the Middle East, the market as a whole continues to contract.” VIP revenue declined by 19% year-on-year to around PHP1.44 billion, with Universal Entertainment attributing the drop to a lower win rate. Mass-market table revenue fell 24.2% to PHP2.30 billion, while gaming machine revenue decreased 8.9% to PHP2.73 billion.Competitive pressures to attract mass-market players have also intensified, driving up customer acquisition costs, according to Universal Entertainment: “Against the backdrop of structural changes in the VIP market, fierce competition with rivals to acquire mass-market customers continues, driving up customer acquisition costs,” Despite these headwinds, the integrated resort segment remained profitable. Universal credited improved performance to lower fixed costs, reduced selling, general and administrative expenses, decreased depreciation following an asset revaluation in the prior fiscal year, and modifications to the Okada Manila loyalty programme. The company anticipates increased competition in Philippine gaming throughout 2026 and warned that the impact from the Middle East situation may extend beyond the second quarter. As a result, growth in online casino operations is expected to become a more critical growth avenue for Okada Manila this year. This article is provided by a third-party. Your Go-To Travel Checklist for Smarter, Reward-Focused Travel Planning

SINGAPORE, May 15, 2026 - (ACN Newswire via SeaPRwire.com) - Travel goals often begin as ideas scribbled in a notebook or saved Instagram posts but turning them into real experiences can take thoughtful planning. One practical way travellers in Singapore explore these goals is by understanding how Travel Credit Cards can fit into their overall travel checklist. When used mindfully, the right card rewards can help reduce travel-related expenses and make trips feel more achievable. From flights and accommodation to daily spending abroad, a structured approach can help travellers make the most of what they already spend. This checklist is designed to help review travel plans and see how card rewards can support those goals in a realistic, manageable way.Define Your Travel Goals ClearlyClear travel goals provide direction and make planning feel less overwhelming. Instead of a vague plan to "travel more," it helps to identify destinations, timelines, and travel styles. For instance, a short regional trip to Bangkok or Bali may involve different costs and priorities compared to a longer holiday to Europe or Australia. In Singapore, a return flight within Southeast Asia can range between SGD 200 and SGD 500, while long-haul flights may cross SGD 1,200.Understand How Travel Rewards Fit Into Your PlansTravel rewards work best when they match existing spending patterns rather than forcing new habits. Many Travel Credit Cards in Singapore offer reward points or miles on everyday categories, such as dining, online shopping, and transport. Over time, these points can help offset flight bookings or hotel stays. This makes it easier to assess how everyday spending may contribute to future travel plans.Track Your Expenses and Reward PotentialTracking spending is an important part of reviewing how realistic travel goals are. Monthly expenses, such as groceries, utilities, and subscriptions, often total between SGD 1,500 and SGD 2,500 for many households in Singapore. When these expenses are channelled through cards offering travel rewards, points can accumulate gradually. Keeping a simple monthly record can also highlight which categories generate the most rewards.Check Reward Redemption Options and FlexibilityNot all rewards work the same way, so you should review redemption options. Some cards allow points to be converted into airline miles, while others offer travel vouchers or statement credits for travel bookings. Flexibility matters, especially for travellers who prefer multiple airlines or travel dates. Understanding the terms and conditions of rewards also helps clarify what is actually usable for your plans.Review Travel-Related Benefits Beyond RewardsMany Travel Credit Cards come with additional benefits, such as airport lounge access, travel insurance coverage, or discounts on hotel bookings. For example, complimentary lounge access at Changi Airport can help reduce pre-flight expenses, where meals alone may cost SGD 20-40. These features may be useful for travellers who value comfort and convenience alongside rewards.Plan for Overseas Spending and Currency CostsOverseas spending is an important part of any travel checklist, especially when travelling frequently. Foreign currency fees often range between 2.5% and 3.5% per transaction, which can add up quickly on longer trips. Some travel-focused cards offer lower foreign currency fees or bonus rewards for overseas spending. This is worth reviewing before choosing a card for regular use abroad.Review Annual Fees Against Real ValueAnnual fees are an important consideration when reviewing travel-related cards. In Singapore, annual fees for Travel Credit Cards can range from SGD 150 to SGD 500. While higher-fee cards often come with more generous rewards or perks, the value depends on individual travel frequency. A traveller taking one or two trips a year may find sufficient value in mid-range options. Reviewing fee waivers, renewal bonuses, and reward redemption potential can give a clearer picture of overall value.Turning Plans Into Meaningful Travel ExperiencesTravel planning does not have to feel complicated or financially overwhelming. With a clear checklist and realistic expectations, travellers in Singapore can review how everyday spending aligns with their travel goals. Travel Credit Cards, when chosen thoughtfully, can help make trips more accessible by offsetting certain costs and adding convenience. The key lies in understanding rewards, tracking progress, and revisiting goals regularly.Disclaimer: This content is published by iQuanti Singapore Pte. The Lodge Card Club to Reopen May 26 Following Texas Raid

(AsiaGameHub) -   The Lodge Card Club located in Round Rock, Texas, will resume operations on May 26 at 9 a.m., two months after a state raid shuttered the poker room. Good to Know Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents raided The Lodge Card Club in March. A Williamson County Grand Jury ultimately found insufficient evidence to file a criminal indictment. Poker operations will resume May 26, while Frank & Margie’s will open its doors May 16. The first poker event following the reopening will be a $50 no-limit hold’em tournament at 10:15 a.m. on May 26. Two additional low-buy-in events are planned for the same day, letting members quickly return to live poker as the World Series of Poker launches in Las Vegas. The club announced the news on Tuesday via Twitter/X, stating: “Welcome back home Lodge members.” Welcome back home Lodge members. The grand reopening is May 26th at 9am pic.twitter.com/YYLiMaPhgQ — Lodge Card Club (@LodgePokerClub) May 12, 2026 Round Rock Poker Room Set to Resume Operations The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission shut down The Lodge in March, citing money laundering and illegal gambling allegations. State authorities also froze assets connected to the club. This case shifted in April when a Williamson County Grand Jury declined to indict the property owners. Without a criminal indictment, The Lodge now plans to bring back staff, players, and regular poker games. The reopening will also assist players who still had chips at the club during the raid. Those players are expected to receive their payouts once operations restart. Several familiar aspects of the business will return as well. The “Poker at the Lodge” livestream, which has nearly 240,000 YouTube subscribers, is anticipated to resume after poker operations restart in Round Rock. Food service will look updated. Odds Bar & Bistro is being replaced by Frank & Margie’s, an Italian-American restaurant opening May 16, ahead of the poker room’s reopening. The company also operates a Lodge card club in San Antonio. This location was not raided and stayed open during the Round Rock shutdown. This article is provided by a third-party. Justice Department Launches Compensation Program for AirBit Club Crypto Scam Victims

(AsiaGameHub) -   Individuals affected by the AirBit Club crypto Ponzi scheme now have a potential avenue to recoup losses after the US Justice Department launched a compensation procedure linked to forfeited assets. Good to Know The DOJ indicates that over $400 million in forfeited assets may be used to reimburse qualifying victims. AirBit Club was promoted as a cryptocurrency mining and trading venture offering assured profits. RCB Fund Services will reach out to identified victims regarding petition submissions. The Justice Department stated that the United States has seized more than $400 million in assets tied to AirBit Club. These assets consist of real estate, US dollars, and cryptocurrency obtained from the scheme. AirBit Club operators presented the enterprise as a cryptocurrency mining and trading platform. Participants were assured of guaranteed returns, although prosecutors later characterized the operation as a Ponzi scheme. DOJ Opens AirBit Club Recovery Process The compensation initiative followed sentencing in 2023 of several individuals linked to AirBit Club. Among them were co-founders Pablo Renato Rodriguez and Gutemberg Dos Santos, promoters Cecilia Millan and Karina Chairez, and attorney Scott Hughes.“To date, the United States has forfeited over $400 million in assets that are now available to compensate eligible victims for their qualifying losses. Victims who have already shared their details with the FBI or U.S. Attorney’s Office will be contacted by the remission administrator, RCB Fund Services, LLC, (RCB) to submit a petition,” the DOJ stated. Those who previously supplied information to the FBI or the US Attorney’s Office are expected to be contacted by RCB Fund Services, which will manage petition processing through the remission procedure. Assistant Attorney General A. Tysen Duva of the Justice Department Criminal Division remarked: “The defendants exploited the rising interest in virtual currency to advance the scheme and attract additional victims. The criminal convictions and substantial asset recoveries achieved by prosecutors and law enforcement partners have allowed the Department to initiate this meaningful victim compensation effort.” This article is provided by a third-party. NEC Launches Orbital Transfer Vehicle Development Project Aiming for Asia’s First Vehicle Deployment through JAXA’s Space Strategy Fund Program

TOKYO, May 15, 2026 - (JCN Newswire via SeaPRwire.com) - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) has launched a project to develop an Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV) following its selection by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the agency’s decision to award NEC with a grant for the technology development theme "Technologies for Realizing Flexible Mobility in Space: (A) Development of Inter-Orbital Transportation Vehicles." Through this project, NEC aims to achieve the first implementation of OTV in Asia (*1).Conceptual illustration of an Orbital Transfer VehicleAn OTV is a spacecraft designed to transport satellites to their intended orbits, such as a geostationary or lunar orbit, after they have separated from their rockets. Typically, after a rocket places a satellite into an initial orbit, the satellite must use its own large engines and a significant amount of fuel to reach its destination. However, by having an OTV perform this transport, even small satellites without large engines can be deployed to distant orbits. Furthermore, since OTVs can simultaneously transport multiple small satellites to geostationary or lunar orbits, they also contribute to improved transport efficiency. As a result, OTVs are expected to make important contributions to accelerating all aspects of space development. Not only will they promote the development of future space economies—such as the utilization of geostationary orbits and cislunar space (*2)—but by lowering the barriers to space utilization, they will also encourage the entry of new operators into the sector.NEC has over half a century of experience in the development and manufacture of spacecraft, including the geostationary satellite "Kizuna" (WINDS), the lunar orbiter "Kaguya" (SELENE), and the deep-space probe "Hayabusa2." Drawing on its development technologies and operational expertise for spacecraft designed for these diverse orbital environments, NEC is undertaking the OTV development project. Moving forward, NEC plans to conduct market feasibility studies, conceptual design, and demonstrations for OTVs by the end of fiscal year 2027 to clarify the required functions and other specifications. Following this, NEC plans to begin development of a demonstration model in fiscal year 2028, with the goal of launching it and conducting in-space demonstrations in fiscal year 2032, and aims to bring the technology to practical use in the future.NEC is developing highly competitive OTVs to expand the market through the growth of Japan’s space industry, realize missions that deliver social benefits, and deepen research activities aimed at exploring new frontiers.(*1)As of May 13, 2026, research by NEC(*2)The vast expanse of space between Earth and the Moon.About NECThe NEC Group leverages technology to create social value and promote a more sustainable world where everyone has the chance to reach their full potential. UK Launches New Gambling Harm Research Centre

(AsiaGameHub) -   The United Kingdom has launched a new independent research centre dedicated to gambling-related harm, with levy funding allocated for evidence-building, prevention efforts, and policy-focused work. Key Details to Know The Gambling Harms Research UK Evidence Centre will receive £22.1 million in funding for the 2025-2026 period. UKRI will finance the centre using 20% of the statutory national Gambling Levy. The Universities of Glasgow, Sheffield, Swansea, and King’s College London will lead the centre’s work. The new Gambling Harms Research UK Evidence Centre launches after years of widespread concern over weak evidence, industry influence, and limited research capacity in gambling harm policy. A consortium from the Universities of Glasgow, Sheffield, Swansea, and King’s College London will operate the centre. DCMS announced the launch on Thursday, while UK Research and Innovation will deliver funding via a portion of the government-run statutory levy. Independent Evidence Is the Top Priority Funding from the levy gives the project full scale and capacity from day one. UKRI will use its 20% share of the Gambling Levy to support the centre, which equals £22.1 million for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Earlier in 2025, the levy also allocated £25.4 million to gambling harm prevention organizations. The centre will research gambling harm across a range of areas: public health, policy, sport, online gambling, video-game gambling, financial data, algorithms, and structural risk factors. It will also coordinate 19 Innovation Partnerships under the GHR-UK framework. Professor Heather Wardle, director of the centre and professor of gambling research and policy at the University of Glasgow, stated: “For far too long, gambling research has been under-resourced and overlooked. “New funding through the levy and UKRI marks a vital reset for the field, strengthening the quality and scale of gambling harms research and ensuring policy is driven by rigorous, independent evidence.”UKRI reports that harmful gambling costs the UK economy around £1.4 billion every year. It has also linked gambling harm to increased public health pressure, higher criminal justice costs, depression, and suicide. Independence stands as the core of the project. In April 2025, gambling harm researchers warned Parliament about past industry influence over research funding and priority-setting. Wardle also told the health and social care committee that earlier research often reflected research questions and viewpoints shaped by the gambling sector itself. Lived experience of harm will also guide the centre’s work. Martin Jones, a campaigner and charity worker who has experienced a gambling-related suicide in his family, will serve as the centre’s lived-experience lead. He said: “Research is not just an abstract intellectual exercise that exists in isolation. “It is, and should be, closely connected to the real gambling harms that affect real people. “We need to do far more to prevent these harms, and coordinating top-tier research will support this goal, especially as we explore more complex areas like suicide, algorithms, and financial data.”The centre is part of a broader UKRI Research Programme focused on gambling. That programme already includes 32 rapid evidence reviews, 19 Innovation Partnerships, and four UKRI policy fellows. UKRI also plans to allocate additional funding for topics such as the overlap between gambling and video gaming. This article is provided by a third-party.
